Does anyone else here love making people crafty, well thought out gifts for holidays, but run out of ideas?

AKA, does anyone have any suggestions for cheap holiday gifts?

I make lots of gifts, who are you making for? What gender and age ranges? Maybe I can give you some ideas

Men are the hardest to make for, I think

Do you sew? I've made my boyfriend a wallet, which I wrote up for my sewing group's blog

If I ever get around to it, I've got a 7" vinyl record I'm going to make a bowl out of, and I've got loads of sweets to put in it for him - instructions here

Does he have a laptop that might benefit from case? lots of patterns here

If he takes sandwiches to work/college he might like a reusable sandwich wrap and it would remind him of you every day

I do, though they don't always seem appreciated.

I made jelly and home made bread for work people. I also knit dish clothes for them, though that takes more time than you probably have. There are a lot of festive quick bread recipes out there that take very little time to make, but can be ingredient intensive.

I like to do paintings that are aimed at respecting my family. It tends to go better than the time I got my parents holiday-scented soap...

Maybe you can make a braided or beaded bracelet, something kind of "manly?" Unless he doesn't like jewelry.
